Ever since Onteora opened for summer camping in 1956 the camp has commemorated its history through an amazing number of patches. Things stated off slowly, as you will see, but in recent years there have been patches for all sorts of activities and fund raisers beyond the traditional summer camp patches.
I scanned many of these patches years ago when file sizes were usually kept low both for space and for download times. I hope to redo these in larger sizes in the future.
Please let me know if you have any patches not shown - even a scan would be appreciated.
This is the very first Onteora patch, issued in 1956. Thanks to Joe Schloss for the scan of this very rare item! WANTED |
