Thanks to Mark Pollitt for
two nice shots of Wauwepex in winter. His e-mail describing them provides
some more details.

This weekend,
I flew up to Long Island to visit an aunt and uncle in a life care
facility. On my way back to the hotel, I decided to try and "find"
Wauwepex. I had told my wife that some of my best childhood memories
were of summers spent in Provisional Troops there. I managed to find
it on my first try and spent a very cold hour walking around and
taking pictures. I have attached two to this email for your enjoyment. |
