This next set of cards was probably not intended to be mailed as the back sides are printed with a large message and there is no room to address them or add a stamp. They are not dated but are likely from the early 1930s. I don't have any information as to the publisher of the cards, nor as to any of the individuals seen in the photos. If you have more information on them please let me know. Thanks to Jim Guastavino of the Sagamores for these scans. They provide some great views of the early camp facilities.

Miscellaneous cards from Camp Wauwepex. These are undated but likely from the late 20s or early 30s.
|
"Deer Pond at Camp Wauwepex, Wading River, L.I."
Amazingly the card gets the name of the lake wrong and misspells the camp name! Thanks to Jim Guastavino of the Sagamores for these scans.

"Diving at
Camp Wauwepex

This card was postmarked June 30, 1929. The message reads "This is what happens in front of headquarters every day." |
|
While not from Camp Wauwepex, this early view of Nassau County Scouts was just too good to pass up. This was from one of the pilgrimages to Oyster Bay to honor Teddy Roosevelt.

This next set is undated but is probably from the 1930s. The cards are printed on linen stock. It appears generic stock photos were used and not actual views from camp.
