Millions of television viewers tune in each year to watch the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA each New Year's Day. Growing up and watching it on TV in New York I never dreamed I would help design several floats for this colorful event. I also had no clue as to the many, many steps needed before the floats can roll down Colorado Blvd.
2005 Rose Parade
On January 1, 2005 I had the thrill of seeing a float I helped design come down Colorado Boulevard in the Rose Parade. The float "Dinner's On... FIRE!" was the entry for the City of Burbank. This is a look at how the original idea was transformed into a float seen around the world.
2008 Rose Parade
Not content with having just one float to our credit we designed "Oktoberfest" for the January 1, 2008 parade.
2014 Rose Parade
We also had a float in the January 1, 2014 parade! "Lights... Camera... Action!" was the theme for the City of Burbank entry.
2015 Rose Parade
