From my journal of 1967:
Got up 4:45 = loaded bus & ate at 6. Went to Truman Library & toured it. Went to W.M.C.A., ate, unloaded bus. Slept on gym floor - watched TV (Desi-Luci Comedy Hour, 1/2 of Star Trek), swam & played with elevators.
Another long day in the bus, but at least we had a stop at the Truman Library to help break things up. Sounds like an exciting day when you have to play with elevators for fun.
