From my journal of 1967:
The End - drove into NY - in NJ saw another bus from Jim's company. Arrived in Shelter Rock singing "100 Miles".
Well, that's it. After 30 days away from home, and approximately 6,000 miles on the road, we were back on Long Island. It had been a great trip, one that I remain glad to have made. All of us got along well on the trip, but once we got off the bus, we went our separate ways. It would be interesting to have a reunion and compare notes as to what we've done over the years, but so far, I have only been able to track down a few members of the expedition. If you were part of our adventure please let me know!
I hope that you've enjoyed this trip back through time.
